Hydrobates tristrami
Dark brown, fork-tailed seabird of the northwestern and central Pacific, where it breeds on Japanese and Hawaiian islands. Generally forages far offshore and does not associate with boats. Dark chocolate-brown overall with prominent pale carpal bars. In optimal light, rump is slightly paler than the plumage of the back and tail, unlike in Markham’s and Leach’s Storm-Petrels; in fresh plumage, note gray sheen to head and back. Lacks the distinctively pale primary shafts of Matsudaira's and Swinhoe’s Storm-Petrels.

分类信息
The holotype specimen of Oceanodroma tristrami Salvin (Cat.Bds.Brit.Mus., 25,1896, p.347) is held in the vertebrate zoology collection of World Museum, National Museums Liverpool, with accession number NML-VZ T9781. The specimen was collected by Lieutenant Gunn at Sendai Bay, Japan, July 1874, and came to the Liverpool national collection through the purchase of Henry Baker Tristram's collection. It was formerly defined in the genus Oceanodroma before that genus was synonymized with Hydrobates.

Bornean Black-capped Babbler
Pellorneum capistratoides
Chunky, thickset brown babbler, endemic to Borneo. Note dark face and crown, white eyebrows, orange breast, and bright white throat. Scurries about on the forest floor like a rodent, rummaging through leaf litter, either singly or in pairs. Found in lowland and foothill forests. Gives a high-pitched, but sometimes mellow, “bee’lee”, as well as harsh, rasping calls.
Galapagos Petrel
Pterodroma phaeopygia
Endangered seabird that nests only in Galápagos. Outside the breeding season, it disperses over the eastern Pacific and usually stays far from land. Note distinctive black-and-white pattern on underwing, mostly white underparts, and dark upperparts that extend down through its face to sides of neck; no other seabird found in and near Galápagos shares these features. When seen from above, it appears all dark except for some white around the base of the bill. Almost always encountered at sea, since it travels to and from its highland nesting sites only at night.
Yellow-faced Parrot
Alipiopsitta xanthops
A very distinctive mostly green parrot with a yellow face, a yellowish belly, and orange-red thighs. Note the dark upper bill. Tends to prefer drier and more open areas than most other large parrot species in its range, but also found in savannas and dry forests (caatinga). Flight call is repeated screeching “crrreeh.”
