Three-banded Warbler
Basileuterus trifasciatus
Small warbler with a restricted range in the Andes of northwestern Peru and southwestern Ecuador. It is yellow with a grayish head boldly marked with dark stripes. It lacks the black crown stripe and white “headlights” of Gray-and-gold Warbler. Compared to Three-striped Warbler (little or no overlap), it is grayer on the head and neck, lacks yellow in the crown, and shows slightly paler and less extensive facial markings. Inhabits both dry and humid forest, where it actively flits around in the branches.

Common Myna
Acridotheres tristis
A large, black-and-brown myna with white wing patches, yellow bill, and yellow legs. Gregarious and often found in noisy flocks. Aggressive, often driving away other birds. Can be found just about anywhere but the densest forests. Native to southern Asia, where it is among the most common species. Widely introduced elsewhere in the world, including Australia, New Zealand, and Hawaii.

Crested Hornero
Furnarius cristatus
A mostly terrestrial and chunky light brown bird of the north and central Chaco, from central Argentina to Western Paraguay and extreme SE Bolivia. Distinguished from Rufous Hornero by crest, from Lark-like Brushrunner by plain plumage, and from Cachalotes by dull plumage, smaller bill and size, and dark iris. Generally found in woodland, thorn scrub, and adjacent habitats. Builds large, open mud domed nests on exposed branches or power poles.

Chestnut-bellied Seedeater
Sporophila castaneiventris
The gray-and-red seedeater of lowland Amazonia. Males are gray with chestnut throat and breast, and are unlikely to be confused with any other seedeater species in their range; females are tawny yellowish, warmer-colored than other female seedeaters in their range but still very similar. Found in a variety of open and disturbed habitats, including in agricultural areas. Travels in pairs or flocks, sometimes with other seedeater species.
