Green Aracari
Pteroglossus viridis
Common small toucan of rainforest canopy. The key field mark is the clear yellow belly that contrasts sharply with a dark breast. Usually seen in small groups at fruiting trees in clearings and at river edges. Like other toucans, sometimes rests on bare branches above the canopy; groups cross gaps in single file. Chuckling calls are woodpecker-like in quality. Similar to Black-necked Aracari in size, shape, and behavior, but lacks bands on belly, has a more colorful bill, and is more restricted to tall rainforest.

行为
Breeding occurs from February to June. It nests in tree cavities, producing 2–4 white eggs. The parents cooperate in rearing their young.<p>Its diet consists mostly of fruit, including the fruits of Cecropia trees and the palm Oenocarpus bacaba. The serrated edges of the green aracari's large bill help the bird to grip and gather fruit. Insects are also an occasional part of the diet, giving the birds protein.

Ruddy Treerunner
Margarornis rubiginosus
This small forest bird is bright rufous overall with an obvious white throat and eyebrow. Similar to various spinetails and foliage-gleaners, but it’s the only small rufous-brown bird in its range with such a prominent head pattern. Usually seen singly or in pairs, often following a mixed-species flock. Found in montane forests and edges from 1200m up to treeline. Hitches up mossy branches, probing around for invertebrates.
Chestnut-breasted Coronet
Boissonneaua matthewsii
Belligerent hummingbird of Andean cloud forest; ranges from far southwestern Colombia south to Peru. Note green upperparts and hood, chestnut breast and belly, and relatively short bill. Sexes similar. Habitually holds its wings up for a split second after perching. Often seen guarding a favorite flower patch or feeder, chasing away any other hummingbird that dares to come close.
Somali Lark
Corypha somalica
A slender lark with a sharp, straight dagger-like bill, long legs, a pale eyebrow, and a long dark tail with contrasting white outer tail feathers. Upperparts are rusty with whitish feather edging, giving it a scaly appearance. Underparts are whitish with rusty streaks across the chest. Endemic to Somalia in open grassland and lightly wooded areas, often on red sand, where pairs run extensively and fly only short distances. Vocalizations undescribed. Russet Lark is similar to Somali Lark, but has a more robust bill, shorter tail, richer rusty upperparts and buff (not white) outer tail feathers; Lesser Hoopoe-Lark is plain and pale.
