Western Mountain Greenbul
Arizelocichla tephrolaema
A large, vocal greenbul of montane forest and forest edge, found only in the highlands of Bioko Island (Equatorial Guinea), Cameroon, and eastern Nigeria. Has an olive-green body, a more yellow-green belly, an ashy-gray head, dark reddish eyes surrounded by white partial eye-arcs, and a solid black bill. Calls include repetitive chatters, sometimes ending with “kekeKOWLP!”, and repeated “chup-chup-chupup” type notes.
分类信息
The western greenbul was originally described in the genus Trichophorus (a synonym for Criniger) and then classified in Andropadus before being re-classified to the new genus Arizelocichla in 2010. Alternatively, some authorities classify the Western greenbul in the genus Pycnonotus. Some authorities also consider the olive-breasted and Uluguru greenbul to be subspecies of the western greenbul. Alternate names for the western greenbul include the grey-throated bulbul, grey-throated greenbul, olive-breasted mountain greenbul and western mountain greenbul. The alternate name mountain greenbul should not be confused with the species of the same name, Arizelocichla nigriceps. The alternate name 'western mountain greenbul' is also used by the olive-breasted greenbul and the alternate name 'grey-throated bulbul' is also used by the Palawan bulbul.<p>Two subspecies are recognized:

Chestnut-headed Bee-eater
Merops leschenaulti
Beautiful, dainty bee-eater with a bright reddish head and yellow throat. Dark “necktie” most noticeable when in flight overhead. Inhabits forest edge, wooded clearings, and open areas with clusters of trees; often uses exposed perches. Some populations undertake regional movements, vacating breeding grounds after the monsoons pass. Often gives bright chirrupy calls.

Yellow Longbill
Macrosphenus flavicans
An unusual warbler with a long bill and yellow eyes. Brownish above and dull yellow below with a gray head and whitish throat. Found in rainforest, mainly in dense tangles at middle levels, usually in pairs or small groups. Similar in appearance to other longbills, but with a good view, separated by the coloration of the underparts. Most often detected by the distinctive song: a long series of clear whistled notes in which each note is slightly lower in pitch. The pattern is similar to that of Sabine’s Puffback, and the individual notes sound very batis-like.

White-browed Antpitta
Hylopezus ochroleucus
Plump bird with a short tail and long legs. Unmistakable within its range. Has a brownish back, spotted breast, and rusty sides. Found hopping quietly on the ground or perching in the understory of deciduous wooded caatinga (dry scrubby forest). The song is a series of 12-14 notes, starting with four notes alternating in pitch, and finishing with descending whistles e.g. “piupiu-piupiu tetju tetju tetju tetjutu.”
