Humblot's Sunbird
Cinnyris humbloti
A small sunbird with a relatively short, slightly downcurved bill. Males are colorful, with blue and purple iridescence on the head and breast and orange and yellow on the belly. Females are fairly drab, with a dark-spotted white breast and a yellow belly. Found in all habitats on the islands of Grand Comoro and Moheli. Found alongside Madagascar Sunbird, but much smaller, with a shorter, weaker bill. Males further separated by their paler yellow belly, and females by having less streaking on the underparts and no conspicuous pale eyebrow. The song is a typical sunbird jumble of squeaky notes, and the call is a rising whine.
识别特征
The adult male Humblot's sunbird has green upperparts with a dark or gold gloss. In the nominate subspecies the throat and upper breast are glossy green with a red lower breast, in the subspecies from Mohéli the upperparts are duller and the throat and upper breast are glossed with purple. It has yellow pectoral tufts and the lower breast and belly are yellowish green. The adult female is olive green above, greyer on the head with a brighter rump and greyer underparts with dark spots and streaks, has a white tip to the tail and pectoral tufts. They are 11 centimetres (4.3 in) in length and the male weights 5.5–7 grams (0.19–0.25 oz), the female 5.5–8 grams (0.19–0.28 oz).<p>The song of Humblot's sunbird consists of a series of chipping notes, which are mixed up. Alarm and contact calls are a harsh scolding “tssk, tssk”.

Humblot's sunbird is endemic to Grand Comoro and Moheli in the Comoros. It is found in forest, gardens and scrub from sea level to 790 metres (2,590 ft) above sea level.

Ciconia maguari
Unmistakable species given its size, very long bill, and red legs. Its black flight feathers and tail contrast with its largely white body, resembling European White Stork. Note the bare red face and piercing yellow eyes. Mostly found in open wetland areas including swamps, pastures, rice fields, and mudflats.
Kashmir Nutcracker
Nucifraga multipunctata
A jay-like bird with a long pointed bill, a black cap, and white spots all over. Very similar to Eurasian Nutcracker, but the Kashmir Nutcracker appears whiter overall with more white on the back, underparts, undertail, and tail tips. Forages in conifers for nuts and seeds, occasionally descending to the ground. Calls include loud, harsh “kraaa” notes.
White-spotted Munia
Mayrimunia leucosticta
A small brown bird with a heavy blue bill, rufous underparts, and white spotting across the head, back, and breast. The pale buff rump is conspicuous in flight. Found in tall grassland, bamboo, savanna, and forest edges, often in pairs or small flocks. The calls are metallic “veek” and “vik” notes. The song is a fast, high-pitched metallic jumble of notes. Similar to Streak-headed Munia but paler overall, especially on the underparts, and shows large white spots across the back. Somewhat similar to Black Mannikin, but paler, with abundant white spotting.
