Red-winged Prinia
Prinia erythroptera
Long-tailed warbler with pale underparts and a rufous wing. The color of the head and back is grayish in breeding plumage and brown in non-breeding plumage. Found in areas of lush woodland with tall grass. Usually in the undergrowth, but will perch up sometimes, as when singing. The song is a fast series of whistled calls by one bird, often accompanied by “tik” notes from another. Similar to Tawny-flanked Prinia, but separated by the rufous wing and lack of a pale eyebrow.
分类信息
The red-winged prinia was described by the Scottish naturalist William Jardine in 1849 under the binomial name Drymoica erythroptera. The type locality is West Africa. The specific epithet erythroptera comes from the Ancient Greek eruthros for "red" and -pteros, "-winged".<p>There are four subspecies:<p>Most taxonomists place this species in the genus Prinia rather than in its own monotypic genus Heliolais. Support for this alternative placement is provided by a molecular phylogenetic study of the Cisticolidae published in 2013 that found that the red-winged warbler was closely related to the prinias.

White-browed Tailorbird
Orthotomus nigriceps
A small, long-billed, long-tailed bird of dense undergrowth in lowland and foothill forest in eastern Mindanao. Has an olive-green back and wings, an olive-green tail often held cocked, a pale gray belly, a black crown, and a white brow. Throat and chest are black in the male and white in the female with streaking around the edge. Similar to Rufous-fronted Tailorbird, especially from behind, but White-browed has black on the head with a white brow. Voice includes monotonous piping notes given in series, or a rapid whistled trill which can be rising or falling.
Yungas Sparrow
Rhynchospiza dabbenei
Attractive sparrow found along the western edge of the Andes in northwestern Argentina, barely reaching over the border into Bolivia. Note the chestnut head stripes, dark smudge between eye and bill, and black and white mustache. Similar to Chaco Sparrow, with which it was formerly lumped as Stripe-capped Sparrow, but is larger with more extensive black on the face, rustier wings, and a different voice. Inhabits open, grassy habitats with scattered trees and low scrub. Song is a slow series of wheezy chirps.

Rotund brown bird of lowland rainforest understory. Reddish brown with small gray spots. Males have a dull red and gray facial pattern. Usually found in groups, but occasionally encountered singly or in pairs. Secretive and hard to see, but occasionally encountered foraging on the ground or flushing underfoot. Frequently heard after dusk and more rarely just before dawn, when pairs or groups sing in symphony, a series of continuous low caroling notes.
