Blue-bellied Parrot
Triclaria malachitacea
Fairly large parrot with a long tail and a pale bill. Mostly green with a blue tail tip and bluish underwings. Males have a large blue belly patch. Usually seen in small groups or pairs in the canopy of humid forests. The call, unlike most parrots, is a series of thrushlike whistles.

Hooded Tanager
Nemosia pileata
Small tanager found in semiopen woodlands, savannas, and pastures with scattered trees often in association with mixed-species flocks. In males note the yellow eyes contrasting with its black hood and white forehead. Otherwise mostly gray above and white below. Females lack the black cap and have a bicolored bill, which is all black in males, and generally look duller overall.

Tickell's Leaf Warbler
Phylloscopus affinis
Brown-and-yellow leaf warbler without a wingbar. Breeds in high-altitude areas, in open areas with low vegetation. Winters at lower elevations, including throughout the Indian Subcontinent south of the Himalayas, where it is most abundant in shrubbery in the northeast Indian plains and in the high Western Ghats. Resembles Sulphur-bellied Warbler, but has a yellower cheek and underparts, and shows little contrast between the eyebrow and the throat. Tickell’s spends less time on or near the ground than Sulphur-bellied, tends to flock, and often participates in mixed-species foraging flocks.
