Bronzed Drongo
Dicrurus aeneus
A small and compact drongo that is glossy black overall, with a short, moderately forked tail. The shiny feathers on the head, breast, and back of the neck contrast with the plain black face and belly. It often occurs in pairs and small groups, as well as in mixed-species foraging flocks. It is found in forests, along forest edges, and in well-wooded gardens and plantations. The calls are usually a pleasant jumble of shrill sounds, whistles, buzzes, and metallic notes.
识别特征
This drongo is somewhat smaller than the black drongo and has more metallic gloss with a spangled appearance on the head, neck and breast. The lores are velvety and the ear coverts are duller. The tail is slender and well forked with the outer tail feathers flaring outward slightly. Immatures have their axillaries tipped in white. The young bird is duller and brownish with less spangling.<p>The nominate race is found in India and extending until the northern part of the Malay Peninsula. Specimens from southern India are however very similar in morphometrics to those from malayensis of Burma and the size variation may be clinal. The subspecies from China kwangsiensis is treated as synonymous with aeneus. Subspecies malayensis is found from Selangor south into, Sumatra and Borneo. Taiwan is home to braunianus in the mountains of the interior.

The bronzed drongo is found in the Western Ghats and Eastern Ghats of India and the lower Himalayas from western Uttaranchal eastwards into Indochina and Hainan, the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra and northern Borneo. This species is usually found in moist broadleaved forest. This species is exclusively found in forested areas.

Arabian Green Bee-eater
Merops cyanophrys
A small, dainty bee-eater of arid, open terrain with scattered trees, including semideserts, palm groves, and gardens. Mainly green with a slender black face mask, throat band, and a stunning electric-blue face and throat. Juveniles are duller than adults and lack the short tail spike. In flight, note the rusty underwing with a black trailing edge. Flies gracefully as it catches insects and other prey. Calls are a series of gentle liquid trills or more staccato notes.

Stocky goose that inhabits rocky coastlines, lagoons, and tidal flats. Striking white head, black throat, and petite pink bill. Blue-gray body with intricate black-and white bars, a white tail, and bright orange legs. Face sometimes stained orangish-brown. Juvenile has a gray head, but still shows white tail. Breeds on marshy tundra and winters in small flocks on coastal waters. Rarely seen outside Alaska.
Black-sided Robin
Poecilodryas hypoleuca
A medium-sized, fairly small bird of lowland and foothill forest interior. Black upperparts, head and marks on the sides of the chest, underparts white up to the bill, thin white eye-brow, wedge below the eye and patch in the wing. Shy and difficult to see. Very similar to Black- chinned Robin and co-occurs in some areas, but Black-sided has black on the sides of the chest, and has a narrower white eyebrow. Heard more often than seen. Voice, a distinctive “wee-chow!”, the second note with an explosive quality.
