Yellow-fronted Tinkerbird
Pogoniulus chrysoconus
A tiny barbet with strongly speckled and streaked upperparts, uniformly lemon-colored underparts, and a distinctive yellow-gold forehead patch. Pairs occupy dry savanna, broadleaved woodland, and montane forest, where they forage mostly for small fruit. It has a distinctive repetitive “pok-pok-pok” call that can last for minutes and is often the first sign that a bird is present. Red-fronted Tinkerbird is almost identical but has a bright red (not yellow-gold) forehead patch, and its similar call is faster-paced and higher-pitched.
识别特征
The yellow-fronted tinkerbird is approximately 11 cm (4.3 in) in length. It is plump, with a short neck, large head, and short tail. The adult has black upperparts heavily streaked with yellow and white. Its head has a strong black and white pattern, with a yellow forecrown spot. The underparts and rump are lemon yellow. Both sexes are similar in appearance, but young birds have a differentiating dark crown that lacks the distinct yellow spot.

Australian Ibis
Threskiornis molucca
Common white and black ibis. Adult has bare black head, while juvenile has feathered head. Originally associated with wetlands and marshes (fresh and salt), it is now often seen in urban areas and has developed a reputation as the "Bin Chicken" due to its habit of scavenging food.

Least Honeyguide
Indicator exilis
Small, dark olive-green honeyguide. The face and underparts are dark gray, with a pale spot above the bill and a dark line below it. Sometimes shows strong streaking on the back and lower flanks. In flight, shows white patches on the sides of the tail. Found in forest and tree plantations. The main call is a slowly repeated “chreeya.” Similar to Lesser and Thick-billed Honeyguides, but smaller, and further distinguished from Thick-billed by the facial markings. Also similar to Pallid Honeyguide, but has a larger bill, and a darker and more patterned head. Similar to Wahlberg’s and Green-backed Honeyguides, but has a thicker bill.

Siberian Blue Robin
Larvivora cyane
A slender, long-legged songbird with a “crouched” profile. Adult male is unmistakable, with blue upperparts and snow-white belly separated by black running from the eye to the bend of the wing. Female warm brown with blue-tinted rump and whitish underparts. Juvenile resembles female but grayer above. Like most other robins, shy and retiring, inhabiting forested areas with dense undergrowth; on its breeding grounds, most easily detected by its song, an explosive “tsi-tsi-TEWEE-TEWEE.”
